Dr Neil Wilkie

After a heart attack and bypass surgery, I knew I had to take my long-term health seriously. Despite regular exercise and what I thought was a healthy diet, my weight and blood results weren’t where I wanted them to be.

Working with Dr Chris Critoph, we took a structured, medically supervised approach that combined nutrition, activity and carefully considered treatment options. Over several months I’ve seen steady progress, more energy, and a much healthier relationship with food.

What mattered most to me was having expert guidance from a consultant who looked at the whole picture — heart health, lifestyle and wellbeing — rather than a one-size-fits-all plan.

A Patient

I’d always tried to manage my weight through eating well and regular exercise, but it’s easy for old habits to creep back. After a long discussion with Dr Chris Critoph, we agreed to explore a medical approach as part of a structured plan.

Having professional guidance made all the difference. With clear information, close follow-up and support around lifestyle, I’ve been able to make changes that feel sustainable and realistic. I’m far more active and confident, and my overall wellbeing has improved enormously.

What I valued most was that Dr Critoph focused on what was right for me, not on selling any one solution
